Meet The Board of Directors

President
Felicia Saraceno
Felicia has been a member of NI since 2019 and serves as the President and is on the Marketing & PR Committee.
She has a distinct passion for working with seniors and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner with over ten years of experience in the health care industry. Her experience is within the senior living as an executive director and sale director. She helping seniors and their families with navigating senior living in search of transitional care needs such as to assisted living, memory care and continuing care retirement communities.
In addition to assisting with transitional care she also assists families with so much more. Felicia is also an experienced realtor that assists with decluttering, home staging and the sale of your home. She provides peace of mind for all of her clients real estate needs.
She also is very active within the community and has volunteered with the Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Felicia is a New Englander and moved to Naples five years ago. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter traveling, boating and baking.

Vice President
Amanda Barton
Amanda has been a member of NI since 2015 and serves as the Vice President and Programs Committee Chair.
Amanda has been serving the aging population for over a decade and currently holds the position as publisher and team leader for the entire SWFL region for the Seniors Blue Book. Seniors Blue Book is a highly regarded resource guide that many call "their bible of resources". It has helped families in SWFL navigate through the confusing maze of healthcare/senior care for nearly 40 years by compiling an accurate comprehensive list of resources, grids, valuable articles and so much more. Aside from her publishing and education efforts to seniors and industry professionals, Amanda sits on several philanthropic, nonprofit boards that focus on senior care and safety.
In addition to begin the Vice president at NIC, Amanda is also the President of CAMEO of Lee County.

Board Secretary
Carolyn Marks
Carolyn has been a member of NI since 2016 and serves as the Secretary.
Carolyn Marks is a native Minnesotan and has lived in Chicago, Baltimore and now happily resides in Naples. Most of her career was spent as a professional classical bassoonist in Chicago and the Baltimore/Washington area. In 2008 she accepted a position with the Naples Philharmonic. In Naples she has performed with the Naples Philharmonic, Naples Players and at the Theater Zone.
Carolyn made a career change and for the last 10+ years she has joined Logical Insurance Solutions. We can write almost all carriers with the exception of Florida Blue who requires their agents to be captive.
As brokers she finds the best choices for each individual or group health insurance needs across all ages and preferences. Logical offers major medical insurance whether it be ages 0-64 or Medicare, vision, dental, critical care, accident, life, long term care as well as travel insurance and even pet insurance.

Board Treasurer
Jessica Whalen
Jessica has been a member of NI since 2020 and serves as our Treasurer and is also on the Marketing & PR Committee.
Jessica is a native of Naples, Florida graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s in American History. She has always had a passion for helping others. She has been in the healthcare industry for 10 years now and has worked in private duty home care and memory care communities in Southwest Florida.
She is passionate about finding the best care and services for everyone she comes in contact with. She has a three old son and another boy on the way and in her spare time she enjoys gardening and spending time with family

Board Member, Immediate Past President & Fundraising Committee
Adam Corcoran
Adam has been a member of NI since 2015 and serves as the Past President and on the Fundraising Committee.
Adam is Golden Care's Director of Business Development. Adam is familiar with the senior services industry as his mom was a Director of Nursing for a home health agency in New Jersey. He understands what it takes to deliver quality care since he was influenced at such an early age. His hard work ethic and dedication to serving southwest Florida's aging population will be a key component of Golden Care long-term success.
He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a marketing focus while obtaining and advertising minor. In addition to the senior care industry, Adam experienced employment in the health insurance field and taught for 4 years in Collier County Public Schools. Through all of his experiences it has developed him to be well-rounded professional.
Adam has called southwest Florida home for the past 11 years since he has moved here from New Jersey. He is married with 4 year old twins, Kenzi Jo and Carter. In his spare time, Adam enjoys graphic design and spending time with his family.

Board Member & Scholarship Chair
Tom Roberts
Tom has been a member of NI since 2016 and serves as a Board Member and Scholarship Committee Chair.
Tom has been a full time Naples resident for eight years and has experience in Medical Devices, Home Health Care, Private Duty Home Care, Skilled Nursing and Practice Management.

Board Member & Fundraising Committee
Kari Bone
Kari has been a member of NI since 2020 and serves as a Board Members and on the Fundraising Committee.
Kari Bone is the Community Relations Specialist at Discovery Living at Naples. She has been a Naples resident for over twenty years. Also, she is a graduate of Northwood University in Business Administration with a focus in marketing and business management
She is a results-oriented, highly motivated professional with demonstrated expertise in sales, hospitality, and senior living. A natural leader with demonstrated ability as a team player, able to relate honestly to a diverse group of people with integrity and a positive outlook which fosters trust within the team and with the customer.
When she is not working she enjoys outdoor sporting events, boating, going to the beach and pickleball.

Board Treasurer
Susan Treanor
Susan has been a member of NI since 2020 and serves as the Treasurer.
Susan is a Life & Health Insurance Advisor. She has been living here in PARADISE, for over 11 years. She was born and raised near Minneapolis where she was a Top Female Financial Advisor with RW Baird and RBC Wealth Management. Before enjoying her work as a Financial Advisor, Susan loved teaching preschoolers and also founded many successful businesses, including a temp agency, a training company, and a private school.
The common thread in Susan’s extensive professional life, is serving. Susan lights up at opportunities to help and educate others. Medicare and it’s Insurance Plans are very complex. Susan knows that if people understand Medicare, especially with the help of a well trained professional, they will make smart decisions.
Susan attended the University of Minnesota, where her undergraduate degrees are in Child Psychology and Business Law. Her Masters Degree work is in Human Services Administration.
Susan enjoys her three, amazing adult children, and four, fantastic grandchildren. They live in Santa Barbara, Indianapolis, and Minneapolis. At home, she loves her busy Jack Russell dog, Moxie, listening to music, reading, baking, word games, and time with friends and relatives.

Board Member
Jennifer Schultz
Jen has been a member of NI since 2021 and serves as a Board Member and on the Marketing & PR Committee.
Jen is a true Naples, Florida native. Always passionate about helping others, Jen is particularly fond of our local elder population. Having volunteered at senior centers and skilled nursing facilities in her youth. Since 2006 Jen started her career in senior living in the activities department. After working in the Activity Department for several years, she transitioned into the Sales and Marketing department and took on the outreach and Resident Liaison role at The Carlisle Naples. Not only does Jen enjoy helping her residents begin their journey in senior living, she provides support and direction to their families as they, too, navigate through this unknown territory. Jen's sincere love for this population is evident in her heartfelt and authentic interactions and ongoing relationships.
In addition to being the Resident Liaison at The Carlisle, Jen developed a community outreach program. It is her responsibility to communicate with the local social workers, family members and The Carlisle the progress of the resident’s care while they are in a rehabilitation facility or hospital. She is also accountable for networking with professionals and directs sales outreach.
She is also a proud member of the Parkinson’s Association and supporting their annual Parkinson’s Walk.
In Jen’s free time she enjoys spending time with her two children Liam and Madison, and with her loyal husband Andrew.

Board Member & Membership Chair
Jacob Winge
Jacob has been a member of NI since 2018 and serves as a Board Member and the Membership Chair.
Jacob is a Fifth Generation Floridian with local family roots in Collier County since the 1920s. A proven community leader, Jacob has served and volunteers with over two dozen community and civic organizations including four Collier County Advisory Boards, Past President of the Friends of the Collier County Museums, President of East Naples Civic and Commerce and was a Gulfshore Business Magazine 40 under 40 in 2020. He is a graduate of Barron Collier High School and has a Bachelor Degree from Florida SouthWestern State College. During college Jacob represented over 1 million students as the State President of the Floridia College System Student Government Association. Over the last 15 years he has authored over 100 local and state articles on Senior Care, Government & Development and Education.
Jacob previously worked in non-profits before Senior Living in North Naples and joined as the Business Development Director for Comfort Keepers of SWFL in 2020. Jacob is an avid reenactor and local historian. He and his wife Alexandria live in East Naples.
