Felicia has been a member of NIA since 2019.
With over two decades of experience in the real estate industry, Felicia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to help her clients achieve their real estate goals. Specializing in relocation to SWFL, senior living transitions, has a strong background in assisting seniors & families navigate the complexities of senior living, downsizing, staging and moving to their forever home.

Felicia grew up in Connecticut and moved to Naples in 2016 after vacationing here for many years. She enjoys spending time with her fellow sports car enthusiast husband and daughter, horseback riding, boating, and traveling.

Amanda Barton
Vice-President
Amanda has been a member of NIA since 2015.

She has been serving the aging population for over a decade and currently holds the position as publisher and team leader for the entire SWFL region for the Seniors Blue Book. Seniors Blue Book is a highly regarded resource guide that many call "their bible of resources". It has helped families in SWFL navigate through the confusing maze of healthcare/senior care for nearly 40 years by compiling an accurate comprehensive list of resources, grids, valuable articles and so much more.
Aside from her publishing and education efforts to seniors and industry professionals, Amanda sits on several philanthropic, non-profit boards that focus on senior care and safety as well as healthcare education and philanthropy.

Carolyn Marks
Secratary
Carolyn has been a member of NIA since 2012 and serves as the secretary.
Carolyn is a versatile professional with a rich background in music and insurance. A native Minnesotan, Carolyn's journey has taken her from the vibrant city of Chicago to the bustling metropolis of Baltimore, before ultimately finding her home in the sunny paradise of Naples, Florida.

For the majority of her career, Carolyn was immersed in the world of music as a professional classical bassoonist. She honed her craft in Chicago and the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, performing with prestigious orchestras and ensembles. Her passion for music led her to Naples in 2008, where she joined the Naples Philharmonic and became an integral part of the local arts scene. Carolyn's talents have graced the stages of the Naples Players, Naples Philharmonic, and Theater Zone, captivating audiences with her artistry and skill.

In a remarkable career transition, Carolyn made the leap from music to insurance, joining Logical Insurance Solutions over ten years ago. As an insurance broker, Carolyn brings her dedication to service and attention to detail to her role, assisting clients in finding the best insurance solutions tailored to their individual needs. From major medical insurance to Medicare, vision, dental, critical care, accident, life, long-term care, travel insurance, and even pet insurance, Carolyn offers comprehensive guidance and support to clients of all ages and preferences.

Jessica Whalen
Treasurer
Jessica has been a member of NIA since 2020 and serves as the treasurer.
Jessica is a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to serving the senior community. A native of Naples, Florida, Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History from Florida Gulf Coast University. Her educational background, combined with her passion for helping others, led her to pursue a career in the senior living healthcare industry.

With years of experience as a sales and marketing director within the senior living sector, Jessica has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges facing older adults and their families. She is driven by a genuine desire to ensure that seniors receive the best care and services available, empowering them to live fulfilling and dignified lives.

Jessica's dedication to serving seniors, combined with her expertise in sales and marketing, makes her a valuable asset to both NIA and the senior living healthcare industry. She is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of older adults and contributing to the advancement of senior care services in Naples and beyond

Outside of her professional endeavors, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two boys. She is an avid video gamer and traveler, embracing opportunities to explore new places and cultures with her family.
Adam Corcoran
Past President & Fundraising Co-Chair
Adam has been a member of NIA since 2015 and currently serves as a board member and on the fundraising committee.
He is a dedicated entrepreneur and the founder of two thriving enterprises, Elevation Marketing and Healthy Living Caravan. With a career spanning healthcare marketing, insurance, and home care, Adam brings a wealth of experience to his ventures.
Elevation Marketing, under Adam's leadership, has evolved into a full-service marketing agency specializing in printing, promotional products, apparel, and graphic design. This agency is at the forefront of helping businesses promote their brand effectively through a wide range of marketing solutions.
In addition to his marketing expertise, Adam is deeply committed to the well-being of his community. His passion for health and wellness led him to establish Healthy Living Caravan, an organization that orchestrates community-based events to foster better health and a higher quality of life for all.
When he's not driving the success of his businesses or supporting the health and wellness of his community, Adam cherishes his free time spent with his family. Living in the beautiful environs of southwest Florida, he also takes full advantage of the region's splendid golf courses, indulging in his love for the sport.

Kari Bone

Kari has been a member of NIA since 2020 and currently serves as a board member and on the fundraising committee.

Kari has a very strong background in the senior living industry as a business development director and currently works at American House of Bonita Springs but oversees business development for their three campuses in SWFL.

Kari's educational background in Business Administration with a focus in marketing and business management from Northwood University further enhances her ability to excel in her field. She is a results-oriented, highly motivated professional with a proven track record of success in building relationships, driving revenue, and delivering exceptional service to clients and residents.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kari is a natural leader with a positive outlook and a genuine commitment to fostering trust and collaboration within her team and with clients. She approaches every challenge with integrity, enthusiasm, and a solutions-oriented mindset, making her a valued asset in any partnership or collaboration.

Tom Roberts
Board Member & Scholarship Chair
Tom has been a member of NIA since 2016 and currently serves as a board member and on the scholarship committee.
Tom is a dedicated Naples resident, having called the city home for the past eight years. With a passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving the lives of others, Tom has amassed a wealth of expertise in various facets of the medical field.

Tom's professional journey has led him to specialize in medical devices, home health care, private duty home care, skilled nursing, and practice management. Through his extensive experience and dedication to excellence, Tom has gained a deep understanding of the intricacies of the healthcare industry and the unique needs of patients and their families.

As a skilled practitioner, Tom has demonstrated a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to those in need. Chris has been a member of NIA since 2020 and currently serves as a board member and on the fundraising committee.

As a Financial Advisor with Jazz Wealth, he's passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals and secure their future. With a focus on retirement planning, tax optimization, and preparing for life's unexpected events, I strive to provide personalized solutions and guidance that empower his clients to make informed decisions.

Born and raised in the Sunshine State, he always had a deep appreciation for the beauty and lifestyle that FL offers. Chris graduated with a B.S. in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.

Chris spent ten years in the restaurant industry and became a General Manager at age 30. From there, he managed two HD diesel shops and over 700 trucks for a Fortune 500 company. After another ten years he jumped head first into advising. Working at Jazz Wealth has been the most fulfilling career yet.
Outside of the office, he loves spending time with his wife, Mayte, and their two daughters. Whether it's exploring the great outdoors, enjoying family dinners, or attending community events, he's grateful for the precious moments we share together.
Deana Levesque

With over a decade of experience in the field of geriatric care, she has emerged as a valuable resource and advocate for seniors in need of compassionate support and assistance.

As a Client Care Manager at Assisting Hands, Deana plays a pivotal role in ensuring that seniors receive the highest quality of care and support to enhance their quality of life and independence. Assisting Hands is recognized as the leading home care agency in Collier County, having been honored with prestigious awards such as Best Provider, Leader, and Employer for the past eight consecutive years. Deana takes great pride in being part of an organization that is dedicated to excellence and has a passion for serving the elderly in the local community.

Throughout her career, Deana has demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges facing seniors and their families. She approaches her work with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Penny Hoglund
Board Member & Marketing Committee
Penny has been a member of NIA since 2022 and currently serves as a board member and on the marketing committee.

Penny is the Director of Provider & Clinical Outreach at Physicians Regional Healthcare System, where she spearheads growth initiatives for a newly formed concierge program that partners with senior living communities. With over 20 years of experience in sales and business development within the healthcare sector, she brings a wealth of expertise in building strategic relationships and driving revenue growth. My super strength is building strategic relationships with providers, patients, and stakeholders across various fields and markets.

Throughout her career, Penny has demonstrated a track record of success in developing and implementing growth strategies for national sales teams. She has effectively managed revenue growth through sales, referral development, and marketing channels, while also increasing patient volume by improving processes, access, and eliminating barriers to care.
​
In addition to her professional accomplishments, she has acquired multiple certifications in strategic selling, including the challenger sale, as well as a 200-hour yoga certification.

She is deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the healthcare industry and is dedicated to improving access to quality care for patients in her community and beyond.
