September Monthly Meeting: Medicare 2025: Essential Updates You Should Know

Keynote Speaker Lizzy Parades

Medicare is set for some significant updates in 2025, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve the program's efficiency and accessibility. These changes come after years of debate and incremental reform aimed at addressing the evolving needs of an aging population.

The evolution of Medicare has been driven by a combination of legislative action, healthcare advancements, and the need to manage costs while improving care quality. As the programs adapts, it continues to strive for balance between sustainability and comprehensive support for seniors.

Thank you to our MONTHLY SPONSORS:

Accessible Home Health Care of Naples: Our Mission: Improving Quality of Life Through Compassionate Care. While Accessible Home Health Care began with the intention of helping the elderly age in their own homes, we've grown exponentially over the past twenty years! Our home health care services can assist your family at any stage of life, from neonatal and child care to long-term disability and hospice, and of course, we're always committed to helping the elderly age-in-place. Serving all of SWFL.

Healthspan Partners of SWFL: Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience. We are proud to be among a few provider groups nationally selected by Medicare to offer this new comprehensive dementia care program. At Healthspan Partners of SWFL our mission is to improve quality of life for people living with dementia while supporting their caregivers. The GUIDE program is a medically managed care management program that provides comprehensive assessment and care planning, care coordination, caregiver support, and respite (personal care) services at no cost to Medicare beneficiaries. We serve people with diagnosed or suspected dementia and their caregivers. In this program, a caregiver is any unpaid individual, such as a family member or friend, who provides care or assistance to someone with dementia.
